It took a month but I finally made some money on Squidoo. It’s only 87 cents but it’s nice to see some income from there.

I’ve read over and over again on so many sites that a nice passive income can be made on Squidoo and to be honest for the amount of effort I’ve put into it I shouldn’t have made any money.

This is actually from 4 ‘blurbs.  I posted a few up last week.  Needless to say they’ll be lots more going up in the coming days.

Now the income screen says 87 cents but it also shows two Amazon sales.  So if anybody can explain if the 86 cents is in addition to the sales, or the result of the sales.  In other words, will there be more income tomorrow?

Anybody else out there having success with Squidoo?  I’d love to hear some ‘real life’ stories and maybe an estimate of how much time you put into it.

An Online Writing Resource to make some cash

I found this site on Saturday and it looks like I can potentially make a few bucks every week here.

MyLot.com isn’t a traditional article writing outlet.  It’s actually a forum where people post up discussions, and post up responses.

I made a total of 8 posts/responses on Saturday and today my earning page showed 27 cents.  I know that doesn’t sound like very much but the posting took all of 15 minutes.

Their minimum payout is just $10 via paypal, so it looks like a minimal effort would be involved to get a payout every month.

I think this would be a good thing to use to take up your ‘down’ time, or when you’re bored (like I was on Saturday)

I was able to insert links to this blog as well as one of my articles there, so the site might also be useful for link building as well as making some money.
