Another good earning day, between eHow and Amazon I made a bit over $13. Needless to say I’m real happy with my income so far this month.

I’ve decided to re-publish ALL my eHow content over to Info Barrel. By re-publish I mean find new keywords and rewrite the articles.

I’m very determined to get an adsense payout next month. I absolutely love the possibility of being able to get 140+ articles published over on IB and do it again on Xomba.

With 280+ articles earning adsense I think I’ll have a real shot at getting a payout next month, or at least get real close.

So, with that being said I have a goal of working IB until my fingers bleed (or my keyboard breaks) to get my stuff over there as quick as possible, hopefully before that 100% earning period starts.

I know the articles won’t have time to ‘mature’ but they should still get some hits, especially if well promoted.

Anyway, to sum it up, Info Barrel for the next 5 or 6 days until I’m done there, then over to Xomba.

A few months ago, when eHow was the only passive earning site I used, life was easy. I got home from work, did some research, and published one or two articles. On the weekend I’d publish 2 or 3 a day.

Life was simpler back then.

These days however, I have so much going through my mind that I find myself sitting in front of my computer thinking and contemplating and not typing.

This has got to stop!

I am wasting so much time thinking about what to do next that I end up getting very little done.

Now, I understand that generating passive income isn’t a race, but It isn’t a vacation either, you have to work to earn. This is just as true at your job as it is in front of your computer.

I realized just a few moments ago that my focus has suffered. I feel that my goals have become clouded by endless thoughts of new things to try.

I resolve to put an end to this here and now!

No longer will I set monthly goals. Instead I will make more realistic attainable weekly or even weekend goals. I, like many working people, just can’t predict how much time I’ll have 3 weeks in advance so I just won’t set goals that far ahead.

Friday is here, my goal for this weekend is 4 new eHow articles, 12 IB articles, 12 Xombytes and 6 blog posts. That’s it, if I have more time then I’ll do some reading.

Oh, btw, those IB and Xomba articles will just be eHow rewrites (re-keyworded and rewritten of course)

Anybody else finding themselves losing productivity due to brain clutter?

My March Goals

Now that February is over I can sit down and define my goals for March. I like to think of March as the gateway to summer in article aging terms. So, in keeping with that I intend to publish summer related content like a madman this month.

I also made a decision concerning my time allocation. It just makes sense to concentrate on what is working, and downplay what isn’t working.

With that in mind here are my goals for this month.

Publish 75 articles on eHow for a total of 200
Publish 6 articles on Bukisa to get to 35 articles
Finish 1 lens on Squidoo, ending at 5 lenses
Publish at least 200 pieces of content on Xomba

Now theres some big numbers here, 75 eHow articles is a tall order, but theoretically I should get a week vacation this month, or, at the very least one or two extra days off.

Bukisa – Xomba will work together as I intend to see just what it takes to get payout without producing too much content.

I only have so much time to produce new content and the fact is it simply pays better on eHow, so if I can get to payout with 35 articles there and X number of ‘blurbs I’d rather do that then come up with 15 – 20 new articles just for Bukisa.

As far as Squidoo is concerned I am just so confused about how to work it that I don’t want to get too far into it until I know what the deal is over there.

This will be the month that I concentrate on article promotion. Last month I made about $1 per article, I know some people get as high as $3 per article average so I’m going to spend any free time promoting, and coming up with new ways to promote my articles.

My income goal for this month is simple, $250 from all sources.
