New Contest!!

Ryan over at InfoBarrel started a new contest this month and I must say, it’s the best and easiest ever!

The new contest isn’t limited to three winners, everyone who achieves a certain point level will enjoy a higher adsense share next month.

The contest works like this…

You receive points for every article you write depending on the number of words.

• 1 point for 250 words
• 2 points for 500 words
• 5 points for 1000+ words  (Corrected, Thanks Ryan!)

Depending on the number of points you receive during the month your adsense share increases next month.

• 80% at the 15 point level
• 85% at the 20 point level
• 90% at the 30 point level

15 points for 80% adsense share!,  that’s easy to do.  Personally I’ll be going for the 90% level.

If you haven’t signed up over at InfoBarrel yet I highly suggest you head over there and sign up, 80% or more adsense share is too much to pass up, especially when it requires so little effort.  I don’t know of any site on the internet that’ll pay such a high amount.

Remember, just re-keyword your existing articles and rewrite them so they aren’t duplicates but entirely new content and start publishing and making money at InfoBarrel!

Yay!! A contest

I think it’s time I ran an article writing contest.

This one will be simple…

On Monday I will publish a keyword, you will write an article based on this keyword and publish it on April 1st.

You can publish it anywhere, it really doesn’t matter.

In one month the article that earns the most will win…

Wait for it…

A one month link on my site to whatever you want AND you can choose the keyword for the next contest

2nd and 3rd prize will be a one week link to whatever you want.

I think this will be a great test to see how well you do on keyword density, asking for the click (legally, within Google rules) and promoting your article.

Like I said, you can publish it anywhere you like.

To win though, you must send me a screenshot of the earning page.

And now for the rules…

• You must use the keyword I choose as the main keyword, and that means I will use the SEO tool to check if it’s the most dense keyword on the page.  You can however use whatever earning keyword you want.
• You may NOT use any form of self clicking, I can’t check this but Google can and will.
• The keyword MUST be used in your tile.  You can add to it.  So if the keyword is ‘Laptop’ you can use ‘Cheap Laptop’
• If you link an Amazon item to the page I WILL count sales, I just need to see a screenshot of the Amazon earning page with the EXACT item sold.  Sorry, but I can’t consider alternate, related items.  The exact item linked must be the item sold.
• I have no problem with you publishing the article on any or multiple sites, or publishing multiple articles, as long as you submit the best for consideration.
• The article can NOT have been published before the start time, I will check this.
• Earning will be based on the eHow earning for the month by article, if the site you published on is adsense based I need to see a screenshot of your custom channel sorted by month.
• And finally, the link you win can NOT point to any questionable content, such as porn or drugs or whatever.
• In the end I have final say on who wins so please be fair about it.

Some tips..

Since there will be many articles going up with the same keyword I suggest you check to make sure you do not duplicate an article title.

Promote your article heavily, hold nothing back! Remember these articles will not have time to fully ‘mature’ so work the promoting like crazy.  Make Xomba your best friend!!

I will NOT be publishing my own article, that really wouldn’t be fair since I already know the keyword.

Keep in mind even if you don’t win at least you’ll make some money and maybe learn something.  So you’re still a winner.
