Hi there, my name is Norm and I write here at thecheapbastid.com to help others who have no expertise or clue about personal finance to get out of debt. I started thecheapbastid.com as a sort of personal ‘contract’ with myself to get off my butt, stop doing stupid things and finally get out, and stay out of debt. As of right now i’m a rookie at this with little to no knowledge of financial things. I am hoping that my military and Information Technology background will give me the tools I need to learn and do what it takes to succeed. I ask you to join me in my quest to become debt free. Read and learn from my mistakes and victories because i’ll post it all, and who knows, in a few years I might be an expert!
