New Contest!!
Ryan over at InfoBarrel started a new contest this month and I must say, it’s the best and easiest ever!
The new contest isn’t limited to three winners, everyone who achieves a certain point level will enjoy a higher adsense share next month.
The contest works like this…
You receive points for every article you write depending on the number of words.
- 1 point for 250 words
- 2 points for 500 words
- 5 points for 1000+ words (Corrected, Thanks Ryan!)
Depending on the number of points you receive during the month your adsense share increases next month.
- 80% at the 15 point level
- 85% at the 20 point level
- 90% at the 30 point level
15 points for 80% adsense share!, that’s easy to do. Personally I’ll be going for the 90% level.
If you haven’t signed up over at InfoBarrel yet I highly suggest you head over there and sign up, 80% or more adsense share is too much to pass up, especially when it requires so little effort. I don’t know of any site on the internet that’ll pay such a high amount.
Remember, just re-keyword your existing articles and rewrite them so they aren’t duplicates but entirely new content and start publishing and making money at InfoBarrel!

The contest is even easier than what you have written above.
250+ words = 1 point
500+ words = 2 points
1000+ words = 5 points
If you wrote 6 1000 word articles, you would already be in the top tier. Ultimately we want to reward people who contribute contribute larger pieces.

I have decided to concentrate on InfoBarrel this month and see what happens. Going into this month I had 8 articles published on IB. My goal is to hit 40 by June 1st.
Obtainable? Maybe not. This contest may provide the much needed boost in motivation.

Hey Dusty, I can’t recommend enough how good IB is. To get the max effect though you’ll have to ‘blurb and promote your articles as you publish them so google finds them quickly. I’ve read your articles, good stuff! I’m still blurbing and promoting all the content I put there last month, I’m about 1/2 way through and it’s already paying off!
Thanks. I started throwing at least one blurb and a link or two at every article I have written. It takes FOREVER but helps get them indexed quickly.
It also seems as thought Ryan is concerned about his members and their well-being. Could be a real good relationship if ran correctly!
Nice post and a great incentive from the admin of this site to gain more writers. Infobarrel will probably be about for the long haul. It is about time I joined and got an account together but I am just so busy at the minute. By the way I love your blog.

I never did thank you for your post with tips for Infobarrel. I’m following your advice – removing links from my articles, etc. The earnings are starting to trickle in.
It’s slow right now, but it’s a lot better than a whopping $0.00! And, I’m confident my earnings will pick up as I write more.
