Looking Forward to May ‘09
As April draws to a close I’m starting to think about what I should do next to increase my online earnings.
Like most of you out there I have no shortage of ideas and things I’d like to try, but, I need to have some focus and pick my projects and see them through, not try to ’shotgun’ 3 or even 4 different things at one time.
I’ve decided to try the One Week Marketing course, it’s $47 dollars but I’m sure, if what people say are true, I’ll make that back in a few months.
So, starting in May I’ll be devoting most of my time to that, hopefully it’ll start to pay off by June.
In the meantime I’m still converting my eHow content over to Xomba as I’ve already finished my first pass moving content over to InfoBarrel.
I’m also starting to do some serious promotion on my IB articles using Xomblurbs (perhaps the greatest passive income tool in my arsenal!)
For the rest of the month both IB and XB will get my total attention, I’ve actually accumulated about 25 article ideas that I’ll be publishing as well.
Now, with all that being said, let’s talk about eHow….
Is anyone else seriously dissapointed with their eHow earnings this month?? I was cruising along nicely and as soon as this whole purge thing started earnings just fell off to pitiful levels.
You know, when I choose to publish an article, like most of you, one website comes to mind automatically, sort of your home base as it were.
Well, eHow used to be that place but I just can’t trust it anymore. So now, InfoBarrel will be my main publishing site.
With IB I don’t have to worry about purges and cryptic earning algorithms or any of that nonesense.
Publish my article, get some views, make some money
That’s all I want and I’m sure that’s all you want too.
Does that mean I won’t publish on eHow anymore?
Of course not. One can’t ignore it’s popularity and pagerank. BUT, I just can’t rely on it right now.

I hear you on the earnings drop at eHow. I’m still too new at all this to be sure of why… but I suspect that the drama on the forums, which anyone can access, isn’t helping a bit.
I finally got preapproved at IB. So now, twice a week, I can push content over there.

Hi Michael, I’ve looked over your work and I must say it’s damned impressive, some really good articles over there. I’ve much to say so I’ll actually be doing a post pointing out some tips that might help and inviting others to comment as well. Keep up the good work, I’m sure you’ll make some nice money on IB soon!
