Hmm, totally correct Scarlett. This is one of my earlier articles before I learned about silly things like keywords. Looks to me like a title and intro rewrite are in order. Ironically this article made 23 cents today.

I'll get this one fixed up tomorrow.

Anyone have an article they would like analyzed? I'll do a post on it and we can take a look at it.

Hiya Norm! I'll take a stab at it ... I'm assuming the keyword phrase you were targeting in the article was "motorcycle safety", which is good but a bit short-tail for eHow. And if that's the phrase you were going for, a big issue I see is that it's not in the Title, and it doesn't show up until the very end of the Description paragraph. I can't remember what the character count is (been up all night working!) but the best plan of action is to get your keyword phrase into both the Title and the Description as soon as possible, so they're optimized for SEO. So you might rewrite as:

How to Use Motorcycle Safety Tips for Better Motorcycle Riding

... Not a great title, but it gets the job done! Now if I'm completely off the mark and you were targeting something else, that would be interesting, because "motorcycle safety" is definitely what jumped right out at me. I'm with Dusty though, it just might not be a very actionable topic. Most people who own a motorcycle probably know about how to ride safely (or don't care, haha!) It sounds like you're doing amazing with the rest of the bunch, congrats! :-)

Thanks for the input Dusty, I think you're right. Perhaps if I change the title to 'How to Ride a Motorcycle Safely in Traffic' or even 'How to Learn to Ride a Motorcycle Safely' I think either of those two titles might attract the new rider. I also noticed I linked the MSF school in the resource section, big mistake as it's a non-earning link. I'll remove that in a few days. Any other ideas about this article?

I am not really sure what is wrong with that article. The keywords that I think you are going for all get decent traffic. They pay OK and the article is well written.

My only concern is that most people who ride motorcycles are not the type to search for safety tips online.

Just my two cents. Your articles are coming along nicely. $29 bucks in only 5 days is truly incredible!
