Article Writing Tips | Avoidable eHow Blunders Part 2

Wrinkle cream? what's that doing there??
So you’ve researched your keywords and found a hidden niche that nobody is targeting. Skillfully you construct an article that even Hemingway would be proud of. With a smile on your face and dollars in your eyes you hit the publish button and wait for the money to roll in.
and wait
and wait…
Your article is getting plenty of views yet it hasn’t earned a dime in a month!
What went wrong?
Well, perhaps the ads on your article page aren’t targeted.
Check out one of my articles that hasn’t made a penny, notice the ad on the left.
What does wrinkle cream have to do with pet care, nothing at all.
The absolute most overlooked part of article writing is the after publish check. It takes all of two minutes yet can mean the difference between a winning article or a clunker.
Do yourself (and your wallet) a favor and read my post on the SEO tool here, install Firefox and the SEO plugin and begin checking your articles.
If the ads are wrong, then adjust your keywords.
Sometimes you don’t have to increase your target keyword, just decrease the use of offending keywords to get the ads right. You don’t have to wait for the article to ‘re-age’ or get re-indexed by Google. The very next visitor will see the new ads, and you can start making money!
This may be under ‘article writing tips’, but in my opinion this should be a golden rule or article writing.
Remember, if there’s nothing there for a reader to click, they’ll just click the back button and go to some other article.
